Birillo lamp by Carlo Nason for Mazzega

The ‘Birillo’ lamp designed by Carlo Nason for Mazzega in the 1960s. The lamp combines both the traditional use of materials and the forward-looking aesthetic of the era, as it is made of Murano glass that dates back hundreds of years and bears the futuristic imprint of the 1960s Space Age. An exciting meeting of past and future in a carefully designed object where function meets aesthetics. The surface of the lamp is scratched and worn in places, but in good vintage condition.
