‘Model 140’ oak dining table with two extension pieces from the ‘Øresund’ series designed by Børge Mogensen for Karl Andersson & Söner in the 1950s. The furniture series was named after the Øresund Bridge connecting Denmark and Sweden, referring to the collaboration between the Danish designer and the Swedish manufacturer. The designer was one of the most outstanding of the iconic Danish designers, as the form of his furniture was the result of a direct contact with the material and a deep knowledge of it. The table is characterised by exciting shapes, the use of natural materials and precise details. The wooden parts of the table have been completely restored.
