The ‘CH3’ lounge chair designed by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn in the 1960s. He was one of the most outstanding of the iconic Danish designers, as the form of his furniture was the result of a direct contact with the material and a deep knowledge of it. The chair is characterised by angular shapes, the use of natural materials and precise details. The frame is made of beech and the seat and backrest are upholstered and the underside of the seat is covered with rope. The height of the lounge chair’s headrest is adjustable. With some surface scratches, stains and wear in places.
